Viosca.net account access policy.
Viosca.net contains the genealogical data of people both living and deceased. Having an account grants access to that data. To ensure privacy protection for our members, and for the living relatives in the genealogical database, we screen all account requests.
Before accounts are given out to our family Web site, we need to know a few things about you:
- Who you are,
- If you are related to us, then we need information on how you are related,
- If you are not related to us, then we need information on how you intend to use the site. (On a limited basis, we do grant research accounts to unrelated folk).
We want to give you an account, but to protect our members we need to know who you are first.
